SELECTION
Almost attention is given to recruitment of our personnel in accordance with stringent parameters laid down as Group’s policy. This includes education, age, physical and mental fitness and previous background. All employees are subjected to vigorous vetting by our internal security Department which is responsible for verification and background check and serious records of each employee.
SUPERVISION AND QUALITY
During the early stage it was realized that no one can work in a vacuum; and without close management input, encouragement and stimulation, security staff cannot function effectively. Therefore, in order to provide a quality service, we give a lot of importance to depth and quality of active on-the–ground supervision. A strong operations team, comprising of managers, Inspector and petrol supervisors with communication backup carries out checks on all assignments and guard on a 24hrs. basis. This is further backed by 24hrs. control room staffed with English speaking personnel so that both clients and guard can obtain assistance any time.
TRAINING
RKS has established a full –fledged training school in Kathmandu staffed by senior managers who are ex army personnel. The main approach to training involves class room lectures ,role –play exercises and assignment specific training .Before deployment ,it is mandatory for all RKS employees to undertake basic security training course ,which imports the necessary skill to perform their duties.
In addition to lessons on basic guarding skills , they are taught the rudiments of first aid and fire fighting .Advance training programs are also conducted to cover specialized areas and customers specific requirements .The training process is-ongoing and progressive throughout the employees career to refresh and further develop their knowledge.
REPORTING
RKS firmly believe that in order to pre-empt an incident it is extremely important that proper reports are generated right the grass root level on a daily basis which are submitted to the operations team and the clients on a regulars basis. The reports are also compiled on a weekly and monthly basis on standard reporting formats, which are used to apprise the management and clients for providing effective security at the same time to monitor the performance of our guards.
